Like so many of us who work in the holistic field, I have travelled my own challenging journey to health and happiness. Overcoming my personal limitations has proved to me beyond all doubt that our capacity to heal our emotions and our bodies is far greater than most people realise.
During the most difficult years of my life I was plagued with depression, had an eating disorder and a weight problem, suffered with low self -esteem and had little motivation. I lacked confidence and had a social phobia. My physical problems included gallstones, ovarian cysts, and recurrent mouth ulcers.
I longed to be more confident, much happier, full of energy, and totally healthy. I wanted to overcome my depression, because more than anything, I felt I was wasting my true potential.
Training to be a holistic therapist was a turning point in my life and working to help others also brought me a greater understanding of my own problems. Over the years they gradually diminished, and I was happier and healthier, but still not really where I wanted to be.
One day a client of mine asked about E.F.T.
This turned out to be the first day of the rest of my life! As I researched and read of success after success with the technique, I was so impressed I decided to train as a practitioner. Not only did EFT finally enable me to fully resolve my difficulties and my health issues in a very short time, but I immediately began to see fantastic results when I used it with my clients. I trained to advanced practitioner level, and in the application of EFT for serious diseases, and as an EFT trainer. I have a home practice where I work with clients on a one-to-one basis. I also run Tutorial Days for people who would like to refine their use of EFT, wether for their personal use on themselves, friends and family, or practitioners who need a ‘refresher’.
As an EFT trainer I am passionate about bringing EFT to the attention of the many people who still have not heard about its remarkable effects- and I am working to take EFT into as many of our community intitutions as possible. I also believe that EFT is not simply a 'therapy' that people should visit a therapist to experience but a highly useful tool for life that everybody should learn to use. Even children as young as 5 years old are proving in our 'EFT SCHOOLS' that EFT is for everyone as they tap happily away to relieve their own emotions when they have a 'problem'!
It is exciting and inspiring to see energy medicine at work, and see it being used more and more all over the world, in a multitude of ways.
